“Life beautiful” review (spoilers ahead)

In ELA, we watched a movie called “life is beautiful”. This is a holocaust movie but it does have some surprises. This movie is about an Italian-Jewish man Guido, who lives in Italy of course, and is living his life Normal. He has a wife who loves him and one kid. But he was alive during the Holocaust, which was basically a time where those who didn’t contribute or who were out of norm, were killed. Guido and his son were taken into one concentration camp and since his wife wasn’t Jewish, she wasn’t taken. But she still went because she told the Nazis she wanted to. So they all work (except the kid) and work. Guidos kid however, doesn’t know anything about the Holocaust. So the dad just lies to him, telling him it’s all just a game he made for his birthday. That the winner must gain 1000 to win a tank, a real one. Over all the movie is really good and gets you asking a a lot of questions. If you intend on seeing, it’s on netlflix.
